The City of Monterey commissioned A. C. Heidrick to photograph the construction of Municipal Wharf No. 2, during 1925 and 1926. The album documents the building and first use of the wharf by commercial cargo ships. In addition, the album contains photographs of other construction during this time, as well as views of the Monterey fishing fleet, harbor, and city. Photographs are captioned.

50 photographic prints; 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 in. prints mounted on 29 x 36 cm pages.
